After an evaluation process carried out by the Start-Up Chile staff and a group of evaluators, 16 startups were selected for Build, 28 for Ignite and 14 for Growth.

The food industry faces multiple challenges worldwide, in a scenario marked by areas such as security, safety and diversification of raw materials. Under this context, the meeting brought together different researchers in the area to analyze the current food scenario and elucidate innovative solutions. The Social Impact Award is an initiative that seeks to highlight and recognize the 10 best social entrepreneurs each year, thanks to the collaboration of the Andrés Bello University and the AIEP Professional Institute.

Second place and a prize of $4 million went to Relier, an initiative of Héctor Jaque, Claudio Molina and Constanza Molina.
On this occasion, the initiative received 670 applications and managed to attract 980 undergraduate, postgraduate and recent graduates (up to two years) from universities, professional institutes and technical training centers from different regions of the country.
